| Ashe is an abuse rescue from South Carolina that was just never at home with anyone but us. When she came to us in late December of 1998 she was a mere 1 pound with no teeth and already at least 3 months old, so we conservatively guess her birthday at the first of October '98. She has had her share of bad experiences like being diagnosed with a form of allergic bronchitis referred to as Feline Asthma on 12/31/00. She has been attack free since 2005. Then on 2/23/05 she was diagnosed with LPGS or Lymphocytic-Plasmacytic Gingivitis Stomatitis. It's an allergic response to the plague that builds up on her teeth. We had to have about half her teeth removed as it became too painful for her to continue with non-invasive therapy. She's been flare-up free since 8/05. |
