Sally and Schroeder
Sally and Schroeder came to us on July 12, 2008.  They were officially rescues but with the amount of medical care they needed
we didn't adopt them out immediately.  They were both heart worm positive, Sally had multiple skin infections and Schroeder
needed his eye lids tacked, he has
entropion of both upper and lower eye lids in both eyes.  Sally is also blind due to glaucoma
and her previous owners had a chemical ablation procedure (also known as an Intravitreal injection of gentamicin) done so that
she could appear normal and keep her eyes.  At the time they came in they were 8 years old (Schroeder)and 7 years old (Sally).
Both survived their heart worm treatment, Sally's skin issues finally resolved and Schroeder had the first entropion surgery
completed with great success.  We are monitoring him in case he needs a second surgery but they are both available for
adoption as of Spring 2009.
